Indonesia Inflation in June 2017 Within Expectation – 2017 Target 4%

Inflation in June 2017 remains controlled so that it still supports the achievement of the targeted inflation in 2017 of 4.0±1%. Inflation of CPI until June is recorded 2.38% (ytd) or reaches 4.37% (yoy).

Inflation of Consumer Price Index (PCI) in June 2017 is recorded 0.69% (mtm), lower than the average inflation during the fasting month and Eid al-Fitr in the last three years of 0.85% (mtm).
Going forward, inflation will still be directed to remain in the targeted inflation of 4.0±1% in 2017. Therefore, coordination between the central and regional governments and Bank Indonesia in inflation control must be further strengthened.
