Philippines Balance of Payments at US$368 Million Deficit in October 2017

The country’s overall balance of payments (BOP) position in October 2017 posted a deficit of US$368 million, higher by US$185 million than the US$183 million deficit recorded in October 2016.

This brought the cumulative BOP position for the first ten months of the year to a deficit of US$1.735 billion, a reversal from the US$1.465 billion surplus recorded in the same period last year.
