China Monetary Policy Report 4th Quarter 2017 – China GDP Grew 6.8%

In the last quarter of the year, China’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 6.8 percent year on year and the Consumer Price Index (CPI) was up by 1.6 percent year on year.

During the last quarter of 2017, the Chinese economy maintained steady and relatively rapid growth in a more stable, better coordinated, and more inclusive manner. Going forward, the PBC will continue to follow the overall arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, implement the principles announced at the National Financial Work Conference.
