Indonesia Inflation at 0.20% in March 2018

Inflation of Consumer Price Index (CPI) in March 2018 remains controlled within the targeted range. CPI inflation in March 2018 is recorded 0.20% (mtm), slightly increasing than the previous month of 0.17% (mtm).

Going forward, inflation is estimated to remain at the 2018 inflation target, i.e. 3.5±1% (yoy). Policy coordination between the Government and Bank Indonesia in inflation control will be continuously strengthened, primarily to anticipate the increasing inflation of volatile food.
