Hong Kong Raises Interest Rate to 0.40%

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) announced the composite interest rate at the end of April 2018. The composite interest rate, which is a measure of the average cost of funds of banks, increased by 2 basis points to 0.40% at the end of April 2018, from 0.38% at the end of March 2018.

The next data release is scheduled for 20 June 2018 and will provide the composite interest rate at the end of May 2018.
