Indonesia Economy Grew 5.01% in Q2 2017

Indonesia economy grew 5.01% (yoy) in quarter 2 of 2017.  Bank Indonesia predicts economic growth to improve on the back of export and investment performance.

With improvements expected in the second half of 2017, Bank Indonesia predicts economic growth for 2017 in the 5.0-5.4% range. Several risks that threaten the economic outlook demand continued vigilance, including weak domestic demand due to ongoing consolidation in the corporate and banking sectors.
