Philippines Inflation Higher at 3.1% in Q3 2017

Manila | 20th October 2017

Average headline inflation was at 3.1 percent in Q3 2017, unchanged from the quarter-ago average but higher than the year-ago average of 2.0 percent.

” INFLATION HIGHER AT 3.4% IN SEPTEMBER 2017, TARGET AT 3.1% “

This brought the year-to-date average to 3.1 percent, within the National Government’s (NG’s) target range of 3.0 percent ± 1.0 percentage point (ppt) for the year.
