Indonesia Inflation at 2.87% YTD November 2017

CPI inflation in November 2017 is recorded 0.20% (mtm) or 3.30% (yoy), increasing compared to the previous month (0.01% mtm) according to the seasonal pattern, but lower than the average inflation in November of the last three years of 0.73% (mtm). CPI inflation until November is recorded 2.87% (ytd).

Going forward, inflation at the end of 2017 is estimated to remain low at 3.0%-3.5%, and in 2018, inflation is estimated to remain controlled at a low level within the targeted range of 3.5±1%. Policy coordination between the Central and Regional Government and Bank Indonesia will be consistently strengthened in inflation control with a focus on efforts to guarantee supply and distribution, primarily different basic needs in line with the increasing demand approaching the end of the year, and to maintain expected inflation.
