Korea’s official foreign reserves as of the end of April 2018 amounted to $398.4 billion.

Korea’s official foreign reserves consisted of securities valued at 370.2 billion dollars (92.9%), deposits of 18.5 billion dollars (4.6%), SDRs of 3.4 billion dollars (0.9%), the country’s IMF reserve position of 1.6 billion dollars (0.4%), and gold of 4.8 billion dollars (1.2%).
